Crystal Pierce is the Director of Business Development at FFKR Architects for their AZ office.

Born in Phoenix, moved to Kingman to live with my grandparents when I was 8. Did gymnastics for 5 years and then cheerleading for 3. Was actively engaged in my high school and church choirs, loved participating in musicals. My first job was at Baskin Robbins and I worked there all through high school. My grandparents taught me from a very young age that you have to work hard in life to achieve greatness. After high school, I attended NAU, dual majored in Elementary and Special Education. All through college I worked at Cracker Barrel while attending school full time. I started teaching as soon as I graduated. I taught in Glendale for 3 years and Kyrene for 14. Towards the end of my teaching career I also waitressed on the side. I did go through a brief time period, about a year and a half, where I was working with business consultants trying to open up my own coffee and cereal bar cafe. In the end, I never got financing…but my dream for that still isn’t dead. Maybe some day.

I got the job at CCS in October of 2018 through one of my best friend’s, Lindsey. I was burned out and ready for a change. My life hasn’t been the same since. I had to learn what business development was and I had to learn what the AEC industry was all about. It was the best decision I ever made. Because of that, I met my amazing boyfriend through an industry event, and we have been dating 9 months now. I can say we are blissfully happy and all because of this wonderful career change. It has really changed my life for the best.
