Patrick Ainsworth – Economic Development Director
Patrick Ainsworth is the Economic Development Director for Apache Junction, Arizona.
While I have only been in Arizona for a few months, I bring with me over 12 years of experience in urban planning and economic development from the Chicagoland suburbs.
I worked for a few different communities in Illinois, but they all taught me different aspects of the built environment. Additionally, I worked a few retail, food and beverage and customer service jobs starting in high school and all these experiences have culminated into a unique approach to my current role as Economic Development Director for the City of Apache Junction.
My experience of updating codes, enhancing entitlement processes, implementing new business assistance programs, being the professional who connects end users to available spaces and sites, and getting new out-of-the-box ideas and approaches to be the new norm is something that sets me apart from other economic development colleagues.
Bryant Powell – City Manager – City of Apache Junction

As Assistant City Manager, Bryant took a lead role in creating the updated city hall campus, which continues to evolve as the city organization grows and changes.
