Beth Scarano is principal & CEO of LaunchPM, a growing Scottsdale company specializing in commercial construction project management. Scarano spent two decades in the design and construction industry before starting LaunchPM in 2012. She grew up in Elkhorn, Nebraska as part of a large family and moved to Arizona to study accounting at ASU with plans to pursue a career as an actuary. Plans changed when she married and went to work to put her then husband through college. Her first job in the construction industry was with an engineering firm, where she was hired to computerize billing. Scarano spent nine years with the company working her way up to VP of operations. The desire for flexibility as a mother of three prompted Scarano to start EJS Associates, a firm specializing in recruiting and staffing services for the construction industry. In 2003, she returned to corporate life, leading business development and project management for a variety of top construction firms.
As a business leader, Scarano believes it is important to give back to the community. She consistently donates time, services, and financial support to multiple organizations and nonprofits. She serves on the board of Hushabye Nursery and on the executive committe for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women. Scarano resides in Scottsdale with her husband. She has three grown children and five grandsons.
